This past Saturday, Alaina and Tad exchanged vows in front of what is now one of my favorite wedding backdrops: the Pavilion at the Pines. This gorgeous venue provides breathtaking views of the Willoughby Gap and Burke Mountain.
I grew up not far from there, and growing up, I totally took these landscapes for granted. Oh, that glacial lake surrounded by stunning cliff formations? That’s cool, I guess. But now, every time I travel back to the Northeast Kingdom, the obvious, in-your-face beauty makes me never want to leave. It’s truly the perfect spot for a wedding.
Alaina was such a joy to work with. She was an organized bride (she had her trusty wedding binder in her bridal suite, y’all) and was so authentically sweet. I wanted the day to go perfectly for her, and her warm smile throughout the day indicated that it had.
Congratulations to this truly beautiful couple! I wish you all the love and happiness in your marriage.
