Shelby and Andy wanted to throw the party of the year in Vermont before taking the huge leap of moving to Texas. And with a dream team of vendors, sweet friends and family, and rain that held off until I pulled out the driveway (literally), I think it’s safe to say that their mission was accomplished.

One of my favorite parts of the day was Shelby’s sister Nora’s reading during her ceremony. She read the popular poem by Taylor Mali, “Falling in Love is like Owning a Dog.”

“Throw things away and love will bring them back,again, and again, and again.But most of all, love needs love, lots of it.And in return, love loves you and never stops.”
