Surprise Middlebury Proposal

October 17, 2019

Months ago, Keith called me to discuss his master plan. His girlfriend Ashley collects “love” ornaments and statues. There’s some scattered throughout their St. Louis home, making it feel cozy and inviting. He did a little research and discovered that Robert Indiana, a famous artist, sculpted a gigantic “LOVE” sign. So Keith, being the thoughtful & romantic guy that he is, found this statue in Middlebury, VT and got me on the phone. “I want to propose to her in front of that sign.”

When the day finally arrived, I was hidden behind a Middlebury College building, waiting for him to walk to the sign. The sign was in front of an open field, and I could feel my heart pounding as they walked across the field to the sign. I knew that I had to be stealthy and slowly walk towards them, cameras hidden, pretending to be on my phone. Luckily, Ashley did not notice me and it went off without a hitch!

CONGRATULATIONS, KEITH & ASHLEY! You two are so sweet, and I can’t wait to hear about your wedding plans.
