Bringing Maggie Home

Congratulations to the Daniels family, who brought home baby Maggie mid-December!

I was lucky enough to capture the especially magical time of having a new baby at home. My favorite part of this session was when Niko (big brother) was holding Maggie. He was carefully studying her, making sure her head was fully supported in his tiny hands. Dad said, “It’s as if you’re holding yourself,” noticing how similar the pair looked.

I always love these lifestyle sessions, because I get to glimpse into what a typical sleepy morning would be like. On this particular day, it was freezing outside and a hard, cold rain was pelting down. It made the inside of the home, full of warm blankets and a wood stove, feel that much more cozy.
