Vermont Swiss and Bloom Farm Wedding: Christian & Emily

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Demars!

Christian and Emily’s gorgeous Vermont Swiss and Bloom Farm wedding finally took place on Saturday, July 17, after a year of pandemic planning that included plans A, B, and C. The weather was perfect, with soft diffused lighting from the cloudy skies and beautiful Vermont mountain backdrops.

Christian and Emily both said they were nervous the morning of their wedding. “Once I see Emily, I’ll feel much better,” Christian told me. And it was true: after their first look, that quiet ohmygodthisisreallyhappening feeling dissipated, and Christian and Emily could focus on the big party ahead of them.

Emily looked stunning in her elegant-meets-country dress, and the couple paired their ‘fits with their classic Converse look that they also wore for their engagement photos. The wedding party also wore matching converse, which was both fun and practical when it comes to traversing Vermont hills for photos!

Emily and Christian’s friends were so helpful (shout out to the bridesmaids for literally foraging plants for me to use for my detail photos!), and they were all overjoyed to be celebrating such a sweet couple. Christian and Emily are conscientious, hard working, and extremely thoughtful. Christian designed, built, and painted the signage around the Farms for their wedding, which shows you how much thought and planning went into every little detail of the day.
