Luana and Adam’s Vermont Elopement

Congratulations to Adam and Luana, who eloped at Hotel Vermont last week! They brought their adorable dogs with them and we celebrated their nuptials by taking a walk down Church Street in Burlington, where they were met with hoots and applause (and a standing ovation from the patrons at Leunig’s). Kids stopped on the street to tell Luana she was a princess, and someone told Adam, “Nice work, man!” It was a cute scene, and one of those moments that makes you really love people.

Adam and Luana wanted a memorable day with just the two of them, and they were thrilled that Hotel Vermont offers elopement packages (that are also dog-friendly). My favorite part of the day was photographing their vows. They both seemed to say the perfect thing to the other, eliciting laughter and tears the entire time. There were sailboats drifting by behind them on Lake Champlain, a cool breeze in the air, and a bottle of cold champagne waiting for them on the table. What could be better than that?

It was a gorgeous day and they certainly deserved it. Congrats, you two! XO!
