• The Essex Resort and Spa:  A favorite of mine, this resort is very close to Burlington, Vermont and has two stunning ceremony spots as well as two gorgeous reception spaces.

And finally, my personal favorite: The Mountain Top Inn & Resort (Chittenden, VT). This venue is perfect for outdoor wedding ceremonies with panoramic vistas. There are many onsite cabins, and with trails, horseback riding, canoeing, and more, it really is the perfect destination.

It typically books up quickly for fall, and for good reason. Schyler and Nick’s fall wedding is the perfect quintessential Vermont fall wedding, and my god, these two looked like models on their day. I promise, this was a real wedding, NOT a style shoot!

Schyler’s veil was absolutely stunning and the wind picked up after their outdoor ceremony, making it flutter beautifully for photos. Schyler and Nick had a very soft, romantic way about them that was inspiring to photograph. I absolutely adored working with them because not only did it feel like photographing friends, but their natural way of being was graceful and allowed me to work creatively.
