CONGRATULATIONS to Lisa and Adriel, who after a year of blissful engagement tied the knot in Stowe, Vermont on December 29, 2018!

The day started with the bridal party getting ready at the Timberholm Inn. The general mood of the day was calm, happy, and content. No one was letting the event’s stress overwhelm them.

Lisa was an absolute dream in her 20s era-inspired veil. I could have spent hours photographing her dress. The intricate beading and deep V neckline paired perfectly with her bright shoes and lipstick. It was showstopping. without overpowering those small details.

While bridesmaids were getting ready, Lisa and I took a few photos out on the beautiful porch in the back of the Timberholm Inn. It was special to have a moment with just Lisa to chat and catch up. Those rare quiet times, where I get to connect with my clients on their wedding day, are often my favorite parts,

Lisa, having just returned form a work trip in Bangkok, was slightly jetlagged and happy her wedding day had finally arrived. She was also thrilled that her twin sister Brenda, who was due any day, was able to make the journey and attend the wedding! (Update 1/15/19: Brenda had her baby! Congratulations!!)

Lisa and Adriel’s first look was hazardous but VERY WORTH IT. Lisa’s sister’s partner carefully led a freezing Lisa down a slick hill while Adriel was turned away, with his eyes closed. I knew that if Lisa fell, Adriel would break his “no peeking” agreement to make sure she was okay.  So,  I was PRAYING that Lisa would keep her balance. Luckily for her (and her delicate dress), Lisa made it safety down the hill and the first look was absolute magic.

Side note: HOW GOOD LOOKING ARE THEY? It’s ridiculous. They certainly photograph like movie stars.

Lisa and Adriel were laughing all.night.long. I was able to capture a wonderful combination of quiet, romantic moments between them, and a few others of uproarious laughter. I feel that the combination shows the scope of their unique, beautiful relationship.

Lisa and Adriels’ friends and family were gracious and overjoyed for Lisa and Adriel. They danced the night away, happy to be celebrating such a happy new marriage.

Lisa and Adriel, thank you for the honor of photographing your special day. It was wonderful to get to know such kind, conscientious people who work hard and play hard.

Congratulations!
