Venue: Back Inn Time & St. Alban’s City Hall
Dress: Purchased at Kleinfeld Bridal
Anthony and Purity are vibrant, fun, and have an adorable chemistry that was a pleasure to witness through a lens. Their families traveled from all over the world to attend their wedding at the Back Inn Time, in St. Alban’s, Vermont.
When I arrived to photograph the girls getting ready, Purity was bouncing in her makeup chair. She could hardly wait for her wedding ceremony! I loved how her bridesmaids were busily decorating her bridal suite with balloons and champagne. They wanted Purity to have the best day of her life.
We watched the weather all day, and the skies stayed clear– right until the wedding ceremony. People wiser than myself have told me that rain is good luck on your wedding day, because a wet knot is harder to untie than a dry one. The rain was gentle and passed through quickly, and miraculously, the wedding party all stayed dry under the large trees behind Back Inn Time. And luckily, the skies cleared just in time for Purity’s big surprise. She had booked a carriage ride for her groom, and this sweet gesture pretty much sums up Purity. She is thoughtful, sweet, and perhaps most of all– an excellent dancer! These two lit up the dance floor, and everyone stayed to dance the night away with this beautiful couple.
I can see why they have so many friends who traveled thousands of miles to celebrate their love. They are remarkable people, and they remind me of why I started photographing weddings in the first place.
Pure and Anthony, CONGRATULATIONS, and I can’t wait to send you your album!
