If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you might remember when I photographed John’s epic proposal to Meg, and their subsequent snowy engagement session a few month after. And ever since John initially reached out about the proposal, I’ve been anxiously awaiting Meg and John’s wedding– and just like that, the day was finally here.

It was honestly difficult choosing amongst my favorite photos to blog. The energy, gorgeous decor, 5-star vendor team, and stunning subjects made for every photographer’s dream job. Meg self-identified as a Type A bride, and her approach to planning her wedding was that you can never be too organized. This made the day flow easily, without hiccups. Everything, down to packing her grandmother’s Chanel perfume for detail photos, to HAND MAKING (yep!) the center garlands, to the music sheets used as table decor, all made the day an absolute joy to photograph. Meg’s bridal party and parents were extremely helpful throughout the day. They all wanted John and Meg to have the perfect day.

One of my favorite moments was seeing Charlie, Meg and John’s furbaby. They hired a handler for the day so that Charlie could make a guest appearance in some photos!

Meg and John, I’ve been so lucky to have had a front-row seat in this unique, gorgeous love story of yours. I know your life will open itself up to entirely new adventures, and I wish you all the best in your happy marriage.

xoxox,

Anne

“Please,

Give me something;

Something to hold on to.

Give me something,

That links me to you.

Give me something;

Something to hold on to,

And I’ll wear your wedding ring for a lifetime.”
