Makayla + Connor’s Vermont Backyard Wedding

Congratulations to Makayla and Connor, who planned this stunning backyard wedding in Richmond, Vermont with the help of their families in under three weeks!

“It’s better than I could have ever imagined, pandemic or not,” Connor told me, looking around at the beautiful DIY decor and expansive landscape of the family backyard. “Makayla outdid herself.” Makyala is a DIY master. One of my favorite elements was the “spread love, not germs” table that included hand sanitizer and paper towels.

Connor and Makayla exchanged vows under a massive tree overlooking the yard. The sunlight peeked through the draping branches and perfect lit their ceremony, and when the sun dipped behind the thick forest wall we took gorgeous newlywed portraits. I loved working with this sweet couple, and can’t wait to see what adventures are ahead of them. Thanks, you two, for including me in your perfect day. I wish you all the best!
