The Hendrickson’s Wedding Day

Vermont elopement wedding

Kylie and Mitch eloped last year at Kylie’s parents’ home on their original wedding date. The pandemic prevented them from hosting their big day, so they celebrated with their family and daughter.

When their new wedding rolled around, they were disappointed to hear that their venue had changed ownership due to the pandemic.

“I just wanted to wear my damn dress,” Kylie told me. So, Mitch and Kylie got all dolled up on their first elopement anniversary to take beautiful photos. Kylie finally got to wear her dress, and had her favorite white peony bouquet made to match. I was so honored to have been a part of each step of their wedding journey, throughout its many twists and turns.

This time, I got to meet their son, who was born just 6 months ago. As Mitch and I waited for Kylie to finish getting ready, Mitch told me about the past year and how difficult things had been for them. Mitch said, “After everything lately…Kylie deserved to have our wedding.”

Kylie and Mitch had their first look under the same tree they eloped beneath last year. Mitch’s reaction to seeing Kylie in her gorgeous gown was easily an 11/10. The love that these two share after life threw them some curveballs shows how solid their foundation is.

Kylie and Mitch, thank you so much for everything. You are simply gorgeous!
