Beach Maternity Session: The Izors

I adore this couple.

We met prior to their engagement for couples portraits, and we totally hit it off. Ashlee (a photographer herself) and Derek have an incredibly warm and loving demeanor. This, combined with their wickedly dry sense of humor, means that hours can fly by without you noticing. Every time we have a session together, it’s such a beautiful experience!

Ash and Derek are expected baby Dom later this summer. They eloped last year on the MA coast, and are thrilled that their family is growing. They booked me for a beach maternity session, and thankfully we had the perfect weather.

My favorite part of our session together was seeing how caring and tender Derek is towards Ash. He dotes on her even more now that she’s expecting. I watched him help her with her seatbelt when they arrived, and her purse as we were walking. All those small moments of connectivity were beautiful to see, and I loved photographing the boundless love that these two share.
