LaCoss Wedding at Jay Peak

 

Thank you so much to Desiree and Preston, who  had their beautiful Jay Peak wedding last Saturday!

These two are hilarious together, but aren’t afraid to embrace the sweet, quiet moments. They are some of the most welcoming people you will meet, and after our engagement session I felt like we were old friends. On their wedding day, it was beautiful to see all of the close friendships they had. Everyone loves this couple and was excited to celebrate their union.

The details of the day were incredible. Desiree is a planner, and it showed: her attention to the small things, and planning the big things (confetti poppers for their ceremony, an LED balloon sendoff, vow books, and more). It made capturing their day very unique and exciting for me as a photographer.

Desiree was stunning in her blush-toned gown and dainty, classic veil. Preston’s precious reaction to seeing her during their first look at the Clubhouse at Jay Peak brought me to tears, and their newlywed portraits were a dream because they were silly and sweet together.

After the nerves of the day settled, I saw them begin to relax and have a total blast. They danced the night away, laughing and kissing throughout. I enjoyed simply being around them, and found that their energy was contagious.
