Congratulations, Paige and Steven! (You might recognize these cuties from our FREEZING winter engagement session in Stowe, Vermont.) I can’t thank you enough for throwing such fabulous party. You made your guests feel so loved, and there are countless highlights throughout the day that stand out in my mind.
For one, Paige’s mother is a talented florist who designed her florals. Draping vines on the chandeliers and large table centerpieces transformed the beautiful Inn at Manchester, Vermont wedding. Her mother arrived on Wednesday and prepared for the Saturday event tirelessly.
My other favorite moment of the day was when Steven’s mother gifted Paige Steven’s grandmother’s ring. Steven was incredibly close to his grandmother, and the stunning pearl/gold/silver heirloom fit perfectly on her index finger, matching her pearl cape perfectly. The moment was emotional for everyone, and I absolutely loved seeing Steven look down at Paige’s hands, with both the engagement ring he had gifted her and the ring from his grandmother adorning her manicured fingers.
Paige and Steven wanted a beautiful day that felt easy and fun, and that is precisely what they got. The bluebird skies, INCREDIBLE food, mountain views, and fantastic guests made the day flow perfectly. It was the quintessential spring in Vermont wedding. I don’t think the bridesmaids stopped crying throughout the day. The love was immeasurable, and I was so honored to just BE THERE, let alone photograph everyone. When I got home, I enjoyed a (tall) glass of the rose that they had thoughtfully gifted me, thinking that I’m so lucky to call them my clients and friends.
Paige and Steven have a way of making people feel at home. I can only imagine the power of the love that they exchange with each other if this is how they treat even new friends. This was one of those weddings where I’m sad it’s over– but I’m grateful to have been a part of Paige and Steven’s love story.
XO, P & S! Enjoy these previews!
