Matthew & Brian’s Middlebury Elopement : Swiss House Inn

 

Huge congratulations to the wonderful Matthew and Brian, who eloped last week at the Swift House Inn in Middlebury.

This elopement was full of personal touches and nods to various inside jokes within their relationship. My favorite detail was that they both engraved a different phrase inside each other’s ring and kept it a surprise until the ceremony. To care about these small gestures, and to have someone put forth just as much effort in that same love language, is a rare gift that they possess and cherish.

After their ceremony, we went to downtown Middlebury to take some photos in front of the waterfall. Some kids yelled, “you two are so cute!” at Matthew and Brian, and it’s true that their megawatt smiles were contagious that day. Then, to top off a perfect day, a rainbow appeared above Middlebury.

Congrats again, you two. You are so dear to me and I was honored to be there that day. XO!
