A Mud Season Mountaintop Wedding

Huge congratulations to Corey & Jonathan, who got married overlooking the lake at the beautiful Mountaintop Inn.

Their day was thoughtful and sweet, and included a first look with their pup Coda who had an ornate flower collar that matched Corey’s bouquet by Meadow’s Edge. Corey was thoughtful about her pace– she did not want to rush anything, and wanted to savor the day.

Corey’s long-sleeve gown featured a gorgeous open back. I always love seeing a long-sleeve wedding gown, as I am quite partial to them. There is something so classic about them!

A favorite moment of mine was when Corey explained the RSVP/place cards that said, “Call me maybe.” She and Jonathan met at a wedding, and they wanted single guests to feel free to write their numbers down to potentially also find love.

I also loved hopping in the car to take a short drive up to the Knoll at the Mountaintop, which boasts sprawling views of the mountains and the lake. Corey LOVES snow, and one magical thing about the Mountaintop is that the winter there lasts longer than any venue I’ve seen. It’s really the perfect spot for those “in between” seasons (November and April, for sure), because there is beautiful snow rather than that classic VT mud. We easily found deep snow, and Corey got her fantasy winter photos!

Thank you two so much. You and your families are so sweet. I wish you all the best! XO!
