A Spring Maternity Session with Santa and Kevin

As a Vermont maternity photographer, I have had the privilege of witnessing the beautiful love story between Santa and Kevin unfold since our first encounter during their engagement session in 2019. It has been an incredible honor to document their journey, from their engagement photos at a sunflower farm, to their 2022 wedding in San Diego. When Santa reached out a few months ago to tell me she wanted to take maternity photos, I teared up! Santa and Kevin always inspire so much creativity behind my lens, and I was so excited to see them.

From the moment I met Santa and Kevin, I could sense the deep connection and unwavering love they shared. They talked about their future, and how they wanted a baby. Their engagement session was filled with laughter, tender moments, and a genuine joy that radiated through each photograph.

Santa’s maternity session was an absolute dream. If you know Santa, you know she’s extra. She is always impeccably dressed (I literally ran into her at a farmer’s market and she had a gorgeous gown and heels on. She nails it every time!). For her session, she adorned a stunning gown that beautifully showcased her growing belly, with a delicate hue of pink, her favorite color. The softness of the gown perfectly complemented her natural glow. Every frame we captured reflected the anticipation and excitement that Santa and Kevin felt as they eagerly awaited the arrival of their baby.

Whenever I have worked with Santa and Kevin, I couldn’t help but think about how great of a dad Kevin would be. He is so gentle, funny, and doting. He made sure Santa was comfortable the whole time. Santa and Kevin will undoubtedly be extraordinary parents. During our time together, I witnessed their unwavering patience, warm-heartedness, and senses of humor. It was evident that their child would be entering a world where imagination, laughter, and adventure would abound.

Santa and Kevin, congratulations! You are simply the best. I eagerly await the day when I can once again document the next chapter in your remarkable love story, when we take newborn photos later this year!
