Kelly + Burke’s Baltimore Wedding

June 12, 2023

HUGE CONGRATS to Kelly and Burke, who got married last weekend at the gorgeous Engineers Club of Baltimore.

What began as a workplace romance quickly spiraled into an everlasting love, and I was thrilled when Burke reached out about wedding photography. I had worked with Burke as he planned his Vermont proposal to Kelly in 2021, and photographing them during that fantastic time was incredibly meaningful. I adored them and was instantly jealous of whichever photographer they would eventually book for their wedding. (Imagine my joy when they had me in mind the whole time!)

The Engineer’s Club, with its rich architectural heritage and timeless elegance, provided the perfect backdrop for Kelly and Burke’s special day. The grandeur of the ballroom, adorned with exquisite chandeliers and ornate details, set the stage for a truly memorable celebration.

Kelly, in her white form-fitting dress and heels, and Burke in his tuxedo, turned heads as we walked around Monument Square. I fell in love with this couple all over again as we walked around, taking photos. Stealing a moment with just the three of us allowed us to breathe and take in the day. Kelly and Burke were giddy (as evidenced by Kelly’s absolutely adorable grin in many of the photos).

Working alongside Christine McFarlane Events, a renowned wedding planning company, ensured that every detail of the day was meticulously executed. From the breathtaking floral arrangements by Wanton Poppies to the flawless makeup artistry by Brushed Beauty Makeup Artist, every aspect of the wedding reflected Kelly and Burke’s unique style and vision that animated glamour.

Even surrounded by exquisite details, stylish ballgowns, and ornate decor, my favorite stand-out feature of this wedding was how beloved Kelly and Burke were as a couple by their families and friends. Their parents and relatives could not help themselves from clinking their glasses to make them kiss every few seconds, and the amount of HUGS I photographed was wild. Their guests were incredibly sweet, and happy to celebrate them. They deserved it.

Thank you, Kelly and Burke, for trusting me with your vision. I couldn’t have been more thrilled and honored to explore Baltimore and photograph you right in the heart of it. You are so dear to my heart, and as Kelly said to me at the end of the night: “You’re family now!” XO!!
