Maya + Mark’s Mountain Wedding

 

Congratulations, Maya and Mark!

These two got married on a verdant, luscious June day last weekend. And while they experienced some rain showers, we were rewarded with a beautiful rainbow and stunning views JUST in time for cocktail hour. Vermont, you fickle but beautiful place.

Mark and Maya are some of the sweetest people you could meet. I got to know them during our engagement session on the beach in Ipswich,MA last year, and totally fell in love with their easy way of interacting and how welcoming they were.

One standout feature of the day that really tugged at my heartstrings was how emotional the families were. They were very loving, and it was evident both in the time I spent photographing Maya getting ready with her lovely mother, and by the speech Mark’s parents gave after dinner. Maya and Mark have excellent support systems all around them. They are fiercely loved, and have examples of strong relationships to guide their own. I adored photographing the multitude of hugs and tears throughout the day.
