Katie & Andrew’s coffee date

 

 

Thank you to Katie and Andrew, who met me in downtown Burlington, VT for their engagement session.

The air was crisp, and the frigid wind chill outside gave an extra layer of coziness to this special indoor shoot. As a Burlingtonian, I couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot than Kestrel Coffee. The HUGE windows and pleasant pastry smell naturally made us want to curl up in the sunny corners of the cafe. Andrew and Katie then braved the Burlington waterfront for some photos. 

Our approach to their engagement session was my absolute favorite: we wandered around, chatting, and finding little nooks and crannies that were beautiful backdrops. The sun being out was a rare treat, and we made the most of it. I loved the way the sunlight filtered through Katie’s blond curls. 

Katie and Andrew live apart, and are looking forward to living together after their March wedding at the Mountaintop Inn. Long distance is no joke, and they are so glad to have just one more plane ride separating them.
