January 24, 2022
Celeste and Ryan finally got their long-awaited wedding day last Saturday! I’ve been incredibly lucky to have worked with them in 2019 for their engagement session and again in 2020 for their intimate wedding.
They first planned a large wedding in 2020, and then one for 2021, and planned a THIRD wedding for 2022. In between all of that, Celeste and Ryan welcomed their baby girl, who could stand on two feet during their wedding reception. It has been amazing to see Celeste and Ryan’s love grow throughout these years. They were just as excited 3 years later to get married as they were in the vineyard when I first met them.
Celeste and Ryan had a large group of friends to help them get ready the morning of their wedding. The wedding parties were assigned rooms across from each other at the Essex Resort and Spa, and when you stood right in the middle of the hallway in their section, you could hear laughter coming from either side.
Even though it was freezing (-8F with a winter weather advisory, to be exact), we went outside for some portraits and the lighting was beautiful. The day went smoothly, and guests were buzzing with the excitement of seeing friends and family they hadn’t seem in ages. For this family in particular, many people live across the Canadian/US border. Seeing them during the pandemic has been stressful, and they all deserved to celebrate a reunion.
Congratulations, Celeste & Ryan! You are a truly beautiful couple and I’ve loved working with you the past few years! xo!
