Jenny + Rian are Expecting!

 

You might recognize Jenny and Rian from the cover of my wedding magazine! They stole my hearts back in 2020 at their gorgeous fall wedding at the Ponds at Bolton Valley.

When Jenny reached out about maternity photos, I was INCREDIBLY honored that they wanted to work together again! They are sweet, and I really love working with them because when they are together they entertain each others’ quirks and have little micro-moments of goofiness that I just love to capture.

Their baby is joining the family later this year, and Rian and Jenny were reflecting what it will be like to have one child in a car seat and one learning to drive. (Rian has two older daughters who are just as sweet as he is.) More than anyone I’ve met, Rian and Jenny seem to roll with the punches with an air of grace and humor, and they approached this new challenge in the same way. Their low-key nature and warmth will make them the most amazing parents to their newborn.

My favorite part of the session was when I asked Rian to touch Jenny’s stomach and talk to the baby. The baby almost immediately started kicking, and I was able to capture this unique and special moment on camera.
